Dear Parents,

Thank-you for the lovely gift and kind words. We have loved teaching your children and have appreciated their hard work, effort, energy, enthusiasm and endless fun along with your support throughout the year.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful and the book the children made was very special and such a lovely reminder of a great year, next week we will be heading off to De Bijenkorf to spend our gift card and I am sure we will be able to choose something as a lovely reminder of you all!

Thankyou so much for helping me celebrate my wedding yesterday, I really loved the song and all the letters and pictures you made for me. The cake that Gabi’s Mum made was beautiful, and I think you all agree it was delicious!! My Fiance also enjoyed his slice of cake (he wished he had the whole cake to eat!), and the song that you recorded for us. A big thankyou for the gifts and flowers, and of course to Gabi who organised the little celebration.

Recording a song…

While writing about the sense of touch, Ronan decided to make his sentences rhyme and made a lovely little poem!

I like touching my blue blanket and bed,
and a new born babys head.

I dont like touching my toilet bowl,
smelly fish and a lump of coal.

Can you make some rhyming sentences about things you like to touch and don’t like to touch?

We have been so busy this week making our very own playground equipment. Take a look at us working hard!

First we went on the bus, we watched TV. Then we got off and had our snack on the grass. We went on the trampolines and bouncy castle, I did a flip, after that I was hot. We went on the pirate ship, climbing frame and exercise equipment. Then we had a class photo. After that we went on the investigation area. We went on the swing, ferris wheel, roundabout and see saw. Next we went to have our lunch. I sat next to Jack. I had a peanut butter sandwich.

Next we went on the tubes. I went on the highest one. After that we went on the slide, I went with Thomas. Last of all I went on the bus back home, I had a terrific time.

I went to the Linnaeushof. I was so exited we went on the bus we had our snack in the sunshine. First I went on the bouncy castle. It was really fun. Then we swapped over so I went on the trampolines I jumped high. Then we went to the pirate ship and I went on the little slide. And I went in the sandpit. We had a photo by the jeep. After that I banged my head, it was really painful. Then we had our lunch we sat in the shade to have it. Next we went on a really exiting slide. It was really fun. After that we had our ice lolly. And we went in the tubes. Fiinally we went back to school. I watched tv and I went home.

I was so exited because we were going to Linnaeushof.  We went in a bus.  When we got there we had our snack then we went in the gate.  First we went bouncy castle there was a big bomp on the middle.  It was easy to climb it.  Then we went on the pirate ship.  I said something in the speaker.  After that we went to the investigation area.  I went on the ferris wheel.  We went on the big wavey slide.  Then we had our lunch in the shade.  I had some sandwiches in my lunch.  Next we went to the tubes and had a ice lolly.  One of the tubes were big.  Then some of us were feeling sick.  We had some cold water and some nuts.  At last we got on the bus.  When we got to school we went home.

What an amazing, busy, fun-filled, sunny day we had at Linnaeushof. We had lots of fun bouncing, sliding, swinging, climbing and eating ice lollies!

Welcome back to the summer term!

We are going to be very busy this term, with lots of fun activities being planned for you, starting with our trip to Linnaeushof this Friday, we are all very excited! You can find the link to Linnaeushof in our “Topic” blogroll.

We will also be looking at continents, countries, cities, towns and villages from around the world. We will use google earth and google maps which will also be in our “Topic” blogroll.

As always we will be making sure we are eating healthy with some more exciting plans for another breakfast morning, and healthy snacks.

Once upon a time a boy fell in the sea and met some sharks and becane Shark Boy and then he met another boy, his name was Dragon Boy. Dragon Boy and Shark Boy swam and flew and met a girl called Lava Girl, and Lava Girl flew with the lava and followed Shark Boy and Dragon Boy, and they met a girl called Water Girl, they all became friends. They walked and walked until they found a different world, lava girl said “this is where i live,” Shark Boy said “this is where i live!” they found out they all lived in the different world. They went inside and found it was destroyed. “Who destroyed our world?” They followed some footprints, and found Electroshock. they had to fight him, Shark Boy bit him, Lava Girl sent lava to him, Water Girl threw water all over him and Dragon Boy called the dragons to help. Dragon Boy and Water Girl got captured, Electroshock locked them up, and then Lava Girl ran out of lava, she went to the volcano…she met a boy, he became the Everything Boy, he could do everything. He could shoot lots of things. Electroshock found his boss, his boss was the Bee Destroyer, they fought the boy, but the boy won the fight and the Destroyer wanted to be his friend. They decided to stop fighting, and all be friends and be free. Shark Boy kissed Water Girl and Dragon Boy kissed Lave Girl. The End.

A goodbye story

Once upon a Tuesday the King was in a hurry as usual. He blowed his son Andrew a good night kiss. But it missed. Andrew watched it bounce in his room and out of his window. Andrew told the Queen and the Queen told the King and the King told this dragon.  The dragon went down in the sea.  The dragon found treasure but not the kiss.  He went back up and went to space to find the kiss but he did not find it.  The dragon went to heaven to find the kiss.  It wasnt’ there.  “WHERE IS THE KISS?” smoked the dragon.  “I know, ” came a voice from, far away.   It came from the land thought the dragon.  He went down to the land but the noise came from a deeper place.  Then the noise came louder.  The dragon went in to the water and found a shark.  He looked in the place that he nomaly sleeps.  It wasn’t there so he looked in his mouth and the kiss was there.   Then he took it back to the castle and gave Andrew the kiss and Andrew put it in the box and when he opened it then the kiss came out.
